Alix, I think that would be a great spark to a piece. Not the Jesus quote, but the image of a person driving, and clenching whatever object dangled from the mirror. Or a catalog of all the things people hang from their mirrors (I have a parking pass, an air-freshener, and a little good luck voodoo man).
